The Argentine arrives at the 'Loba' after not renewing his contract with Juventus
Paulo Dybala, who ended his contract with Juventus and was not offered a contract renewal, has been announced as a reinforcement for Roma.
"AS Roma is happy to announce the signing of Paulo Dybala" until June 2025, the team led by Portuguese coach José Mourinho said in a statement, celebrating the addition of the Argentine attacker who was voted the best player in Serie A in the 2019-2020 season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, Dybala will receive a salary of around 6 million euros per year.
The 28-year-old Argentine player trusts that he will find, in this new stage under Mourinho's orders, the path that will lead him to be with Argentina in the 2022 World Cup, after having missed the Copa América that the Albiceleste conquered in 2021.
Roma comes from winning the Conference League, the third most important trophy in European competitions. In the previous Serie A, they finished sixth and only qualified for the Europa League.
