Facundo Roncaglia is the new reinforcement of Boca Juniors, according to information from ESPN and various Argentine media outlets. The 35-year-old football player arrives as a free agent and his last team was Aris Limassol from Cyprus. The length of the contract is unknown.

The player has not yet been announced or presented by Boca Juniors, but it is expected to happen in the next few hours. Facundo can play as a central defender (usually playing on the left despite being right-footed) or as a right-back.
Facundo is a homegrown player. He made his debut in the 2007 season with the xeneize shirt and returned in the 2011/2012 season, years when he shared the team with Riquelme. He also wore the shirts of Espanyol, Fiorentina, Genoa, Celta de Vigo, Valencia, and Osasuna.
He played 14 matches with the Argentine national team. He was called up by Alejandro Sabella and Gerardo Martino. He was part of the team that faced Chile in the qualifying rounds for Russia 2018.
Boca Juniors was eliminated from the Copa Libertadores in the round of 16 by Corinthians. A few days later, the contract with coach Sebastián Battalia ended, and he was replaced by Hugo Ibarra.
