Rodrigo Aliendro completed the medical examination on Monday morning at the Rossi clinic in the Belgrano neighborhood of Buenos Aires and then went to the club's offices to complete the paperwork that made him a new player for River Plate until December 2025.

Both the midfielder who arrives for free from Colón and Lucas Beltrán have received the clearance to be part of the list of players who will participate from the round of 16 of the CONMEBOL Libertadores, so if Marcelo Gallardo decides, they could be facing Vélez Sarsfield.
Aliendro is 31 years old and is originally from the town of Merlo. He trained at Argentinos Juniors, where he became a free agent at the age of 17. He then moved to Chacarita, where he was never a starter in the youth teams but made his debut in the First Division.
He was loaned to Ituzaingó in the Primera C, and then had great performances in the West Green. He moved up to the top category, first to Atlético Tucumán and then to Colón from Santa Fe, where he consolidated and stood out.
He was an Argentine champion and runner-up of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana, and now he has arrived at River Plate.
