On the eve of the semifinals for the Argentine Professional League Cup 2022, Boca Juniors player Sebastian Villa was once again accused of gender violence, attempted murder, and rape.
The woman, who preferred not to disclose her identity, stated that the heinous incident occurred on June 26, 2021.
"The accused began to abuse me, hitting me and covering my mouth with his hand, at which point I scratched him trying to get out of that situation," reads the complaint made by the victim.

What happened that day?
According to the victim's account, it all started when she and Sebastian Villa went to a grill at a house inside a gated community in Ezeiza, where some Boca Juniors players were also present.
After midnight, the Colombian, who had consumed "a large amount of alcohol," started a scene of jealousy because, according to him, the woman "had an encounter with a teammate." At that point, Villa raised his voice and "became more violent than usual."

The woman's lawyer, Roberto Castillo, spoke on TyC Sports about the complaint against Colombian striker Sebastian Villa.
"She is a girl who came to the studio because she suffered a sexual assault and behavior that we believe could fall under an attempted homicide, aiming to suffocate her in the subjugation of sexually abusing her. The girl was very scared this year, she received many communications from the environment of the person we are denouncing. If the criminal action was not promoted earlier, it was out of fear. And now she wants to close this cycle, this nightmare she lived, and seek reparation and justice in the courts of Lomas de Zamora," he expressed.
