Similarly, ESPN from Argentina compiled information about the decisions being made in Conmebol and the River Plate board. At the moment, the maximum entity of South American soccer will seek to resolve all the points before making an official statement.

Undoubtedly, one of the first measures that Conmebol will take will be regarding the match between Sporting Cristal vs. Flamengo, which was scheduled for today, Tuesday, April 5, at 7:30 pm local time at the Estadio Nacional in Lima.

ESPN indicated that River Plate would not travel to Lima on Tuesday, April 5, until they receive an official response from Conmebol. However, there are great chances that the match will be played on Thursday, the 7th of this month, due to the busy schedule between both teams.

"Conmebol's idea is to reschedule the match. In River, both the directors and the coaching staff, the information they have is that they will not be traveling to Lima today and that the match will be rescheduled for Thursday in a new venue," they said at ESPN.
