Racing officially announced the return of a familiar face to the club on Wednesday: Gabriel Hauche. The Demon signed a two-year contract with La Academia and arrives to reinforce an injury-riddled forward line, which has just suffered the departures of two experienced players like Lisandro López and Darío Cvitanich.
The forward will have his second spell at the club: in the previous one, he was there from 2010 to 2014, with a brief stint at Chievo Verona in Italy, and brought good memories to Racing fans: in his last year at the club, under the guidance of Diego Cocca and playing alongside Gustavo Bou, Racing put an end to a 13-year drought and became champions of the local football league.
After that experience, the Demon moved to Mexican football, where he played for Tijuana and Toluca. After a spell in Colombian football (at Millonarios), he returned to Argentina to defend Argentinos Juniors and Aldosivi, his last club, where he scored five goals in 11 matches played last semester.
