Germán Carty is an authoritative voice when it comes to football trajectory. The former forward played until the age of 47 without any injuries and showcased his football skills in the three biggest teams in the Peruvian championship. Now, retired, he raised his voice against the new generations of our soccer.

"I had a correct professional path. I was one of those players who stayed to train more than necessary. Now, the young players don't stretch after practice. They're not fully professional, they spend more time with their phones," said Carty in an interview for a local media outlet.
When asked about his career without any injuries, he responded, "I never had a major surgery or injury. It was all about good nutrition and mindset. Look at the young player Beto Da Silva. He gets injured quickly. What will he do in an invisible training session? Maybe there's a lot of disorder. There are consequences after that."
German Carty became champion with Cienciano by winning the Copa Sudamericana against River Plate in 2003, and a year later he won the Recopa Sudamericana by defeating Boca Juniors.
