Argentine defender Cristian Romero out until 2022 due to injury
The Argentine defender Cristian Romero, from Tottenham Hotspur, will be out, at least, until 2022, after his muscle injury was described as "serious" by the Italian coach of the spurs, Antonio Conte. The coach didn't want to give a recovery timeline for 'Cutie,' but confirmed that he won't be able to play again in 2021.
The Argentine defender suffered a muscle injury in the match against Brazil in the last South American qualifiers and since then he has undergone several tests with the medical services of the spurs.
"There is no good news about Romero. The injury is serious and I think it's going to take time before we can count on him again. We have to see the progress of his injury day by day," Conte said at a press conference.

"Now he is focused on the recovery process. He will need time. It's a shame because he is an important player for us, but the injury is serious. January, February (...) I don't know when he will be able to come back, but one thing is for sure, he won't play again in 2021," added the Italian.
On the other hand, Antonio Conte did give good news about Giovani Lo Celso, who has missed the last two Premier League matches, and said that the Argentine will be able to rejoin the group after the match against Brentford on Thursday, December 2.
