The Argentine midfielder Ignacio Martín Nacho Fernández has left the ranks of River Plate to reinforce Atlético Mineiro for the next three seasons, the Belo Horizonte institution reported on Saturday.
"Argentine crack in the area: Nacho Fernández is Galo!", celebrated Atlético Mineiro in a statement.
Fernández signed a contract until December 2023, added the black and white club.
The value of the negotiations would amount to six million dollars, as reported by the sports press.
Fernández, 31, has been playing for River Plate since 2016, where he has won various titles, including the Copa Libertadores de América in 2018, the Recopa Sudamericana in 2016 and 2019, the Supercopa Argentina (2018), and the Copa Argentina de Fútbol (2015-16, 2016-17, and 2018-19). EFE
