Marcelo Gallardo could have a new headache, as Brazilian football would make an offer for Nacho Fernández to take him away.
Javier Gil Navarro stated on SportsCenter that nothing formal has arrived at River yet, but it is imminent and could lead to the departure of the former Gimnasia La Plata player.
The negotiation between both clubs will not be easy since the player has a valid contract until 2023 and is one of the highest-paid players at River Plate.
In addition, the "Muñeco" Gallardo would not agree with Nacho's sale since he considers him vital to the team and does not have a natural replacement in his squad.
However, it is not ruled out that the Brazilian team that wants him may have to pay the midfielder's release clause, which is around $15 million.
