Victor Ayala talks about his relationship with the Argentine coach
Victor Ayala, who is currently under mandatory quarantine in a hotel in the Paraguayan capital, spoke with Fútbol a lo Grande on Wednesday and was asked about his relationship with the Argentine coach.
"I have individual contact, as soon as we were confirmed to come, I called him and told him that I had made the decision and he supported me. He said, 'excellent, go to your homeland, go enjoy your family, because the situation here is very complicated,'" he commented.
The Paraguayan midfielder praised the coach and assured that he knows a lot about football. "He speaks just enough. But he is not only motivating, he understands a lot. He has his own video analyst at home, who tells him many things about the game. He is not foolish and understands a lot about football," he emphasized.
