Gabriel Heinze, Vélez coach, did not confirm on Wednesday in a press conference whether Ricardo Centurión will debut against Gimnasia.
In a press conference at Villa Olímpica, the coach first referred to the condition of his reinforcements: "They are all fit to play except Álvaro Barreal."
"I think Galdames and Pittón can both play as midfielders. They have different characteristics between them."
In Centurión's particular case, Heinze only hinted: "We are analyzing if Centurión will play."
"He is better than in the first training sessions," commented El Gringo.
Regarding the possible reunion with Diego Maradona, although he could be absent because of a trip, he said that "it is always special to face him because we shared things together and because of the affection we have for each other."
On the other hand, despite Vélez's good reinforcements, Heinze stated that "the market is complicated for everyone, there are teams that are incorporating players today."
At the same time, he affirmed that "representatives are to blame for young players leaving the club so early."
Does Heinze feel that Vélez is ready to fight for the Superliga? "From here, all the matches are important," emphasized the coach.
And he preferred to keep expectations open: "In very few clubs where I won championships, I thought about winning the title."
