Emiliano Insua, a 30-year-old Argentine defender, has moved from Stuttgart to Los Angeles Galaxy, a Major League Soccer (MLS) team that is coached by his compatriot Guillermo Barros Schelotto.
The Argentine became the second reinforcement for the Los Angeles team ahead of the 2020 season. The first was Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Katai, who was signed from Chicago Fire.
Los Angeles Galaxy will be Insua's eighth team in his career. After debuting with Boca Juniors, he played for Liverpool, Galatasaray, Sporting Lisbon, Atletico Madrid, Rayo Vallecano, and Stuttgart.
It should be noted that Carlos Zambrano has been linked to the Galaxy. The Peruvian defender would be the team's third signing under Barros Schelotto, a situation that will be defined in the coming days.
