The Hungarian Daniel Szori wins the FIFA Puskas Award for best goal
The Hungarian forward, Daniel Szori, from Ferencvaros, was awarded the Puskas trophy for the best goal of last season on Monday, at 'The Best' awards ceremony organized at the historical Teatro La Scala in Milan.
Szori, 18, scored an amazing bicycle kick goal in the last minute of the match against Debreceni, seconds after coming on as a substitute and making his debut with the Budapest team.
The Hungarian forward triumphed ahead of the Argentine Lionel Messi, who was also nominated for this award with his chipped goal against Real Betis last March at the Benito Villamarin stadium, and the Colombian Juan Guillermo Quintero, who was a finalist thanks to his direct free-kick goal from 35 meters with River Plate against Racing Avellaneda.
Szori received the award from the former Ghanaian player of Chelsea and Real Madrid, among others, Michael Essien. EFE
