Boca Juniors will face River Plate in the fifth matchday of the Argentine Superliga. This Sunday, the Monumental Stadium will once again host the 'Xeneize' team, after the incidents with the bus in the previous Copa Libertadores final.

For this match, Gustavo Alfaro has confirmed the list of 21 players who will concentrate for the 'Superclásico' in the domestic tournament. With the absences of the injured Ramón Ábila and Eduardo 'Toto' Salvio, the Boca Juniors coach called up the best of his squad.

The last meeting between both teams took place in December of last year. In the Copa Libertadores final, River Plate defeated Boca Juniors 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu.

It should be remembered that the 'Superclásico' was played there due to the attack on Boca's bus by River Plate's fans before the second leg at the Monumental, which led to the postponement of the continental tournament's conclusion.

After this Sunday, River Plate and Boca Juniors will have to define the finalist of the current edition of the continental tournament. The first leg will be played at the Monumental (01/10), while the second leg will take place at the 'Bombonera' (22/10).
