A new date of the round of 16 was fulfilled leaving new qualifiers for the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores.
Internacional from Porto Alegre, Brazil, defeated Nacional from Uruguay 2-0, which allowed them to qualify for the next phase after winning 1-0 last week in Montevideo.
Internacional will face Flamengo in the quarter-finals, who had to go to penalties (4-2) to defeat Emelec.

Emelec had won the first leg as the home team with a score of 2-0.
Boca Juniors qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Atlético Paranaense 2-0 in Buenos Aires. Boca had won the first leg in Brazil 1-0.
Liga de Quito, which eliminated Olimpia from Paraguay, will be Boca Juniors' opponent in the quarter-finals.

Cerro Porteño from Paraguay defeated San Lorenzo in their stadium with a score of 2-1 and qualified for the quarter-finals after a goalless draw in the first leg. They will face River Plate, who defeated Cruzeiro from Brazil on penalties.
Gremio eliminated Libertad from Paraguay after winning with a global score of 5-0.
