Bonaerense Footballer Drives for Uber to Supplement Income

In the 2011-2012 season, he made history in his country's football by scoring the first goal in the history of the Copa Argentina while defending the colors of Quilmes Atlético Club. Now, he is driving a car affiliated with Uber.

Kevin Juan is currently a forward for Argentino Merlo, a club that plays in the Serie D of Argentine football. He was a serious promise in the 'che' soccer, but he did not manage to consolidate himself, and now that he is part of the group of promotion footballers who do not earn enough money from their teams, he had to come up with something to cover his expenses.

That's how the 28-year-old from Buenos Aires decided to join the famous ride-hailing service called Uber. However, Kevin Juan has not stopped playing football.

"I finish training and in the afternoon, I drive a car for Uber for a year and a half already. Usually, I try to work in the Federal Capital, which has greater demand. The job is pretty good because of the flexible hours, it helps me a lot with football. My goal is to be able to move up to a higher division, but it's difficult to leave the D division (laughs). I hope for that opportunity," said the former Quilmes forward.
