Bomb threat received at Lanús stadium

A bomb threat was received today by phone at the Lanús stadium, where the local team is set to face River Plate in the fifteenth round of the Argentine Superliga football.

The police of Buenos Aires province carried out an anti-explosives operation two hours before the start of the match, scheduled for 9:30 PM (local time).

This threat is the second one that has been received at a stadium in Argentina since the Superliga resumed on January 28th.

On that day, the Huracán stadium in Buenos Aires had to be evacuated before the match between the home team and River.
