There was no winner in the Cordoba classic. For the fourth consecutive match, Belgrano and Talleres drew, this time 1-1 in the friendly match for the 2018 Summer Tournament. The match was played at the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium.
After a match with few goal-scoring chances, it was Talleres who opened the scoring in the 86th minute through Jonathan Menéndez. However, Belgrano equalized in the 89th minute thanks to Erik Godoy's goal.
Cristian Lema, from Belgrano, was sent off in the 72nd minute for a hard foul against Nahuel Tenaglia. After this match, both teams are ready for the restart of the Argentine Superliga, which is currently led by Boca Juniors.
Belgrano will visit Olimpo in Bahía Blanca, and Talleres will host San Lorenzo.

Pablo Lavallén, Belgrano's coach, plans to field the 'Armenian' alongside Marías Suárez to test how his team would work with two powerful attackers up top.
Talleres, on the other hand, will make changes in defense. Peruvian Hansell Riojas would be on the bench to make way for Carlos Quintana. Also, Joao Rojas would come in for Jonathan Menéndez.
