Wilmar Barrios and Edwin Cardona, both Boca players, came out to deny a supposed incident with two women last Saturday night.
Barrios exclusively told ESPN FC his version of the events, according to which, the women arrived with the barber.
"We were calm, he (the barber) was there, Edwin. We ordered food, the barber was cutting hair, we were calm."
"All that stuff about drugs, rape, weapons, threats, you read all that and you wonder where they get all that from?" the midfielder said.
"We never saw the girls before"
"We want to get to the bottom of this."
For his part, Edwin Cardona said he was "sad and outraged" by the news that came out through rumors on social media and confessed: "I am in conflict with my wife over something that did not happen".
Cardona agreed with Barrios in saying that the women involved arrived with the barber in a hotel: "He arrived with two people but nothing ever happened," he stated.
And he concluded: "I never used drugs, never had a weapon, and I certainly didn't do anything against a woman."
