A figure from Argentine football will continue his career in MLS.

Alejandro Romero Gamarra was sold to the New York Red Bull of the MLS, as officially announced by Huracán. The Parque Patricios club informed through a statement that they will receive 5 million dollars net of taxes for the operation and will keep 20 percent of a future sale.

Romero Gamarra, 22 years old, was close to going to Mexican football in the previous market, but the offer made by Cruz Azul was considered low by President Alejandro Nadur.

Far from complaining about the missed opportunity, the player continued performing well and eventually got the chance to move to the MLS.

The offensive midfielder debuted in 2013 in the Huracán team, where he won the Copa Argentina and the Supercopa Argentina. With 125 games played for Huracán, Kaku scored 14 goals and will seek to bring his best performance to the United States.

The Club Atlético Huracán informs that the leadership reached an agreement with the New York Red Bulls FC in the transaction for the player Alejandro Romero Gamarra.

The institution of Parque Patricios will receive $5,000,000 from the US company for 100% of the economic and federative rights; and $1,250,000 for the payment of 100% of the taxes and expenses. In addition, Huracán will have 20% of a future sale made by the MLS team.
