The Gigante de Arroyito stadium receives the longest flag in the world
The Gigante de Arroyito stadium received a flag that matches its name. The one known as the 'longest flag in the world' was displayed in the three stands of the sports venue, before the match against Newell's Old Boys. What better way to show your eternal rival how great you are!
The logistics to deploy such a monster were detailed in a video shown beforehand. The 'longest flag in the world' is made up of six parts and measures 500 meters long by 40 meters wide, occupying three out of the four stands. Half a kilometer of fabric!
The operation was prepared days in advance. Approximately 400 Rosario Central fans were involved in making and assembling the fabric. Security agencies, firefighters, and authorities were also involved in displaying the passion.
