Argentina's Racing Club loses to Independiente
Argentina's Racing Club lost to their classic rival Independiente 1-0 in the tenth round of the Argentine football league.
Independiente took the lead in the 30th minute of the first half with a goal by Leandro Fernández, although four minutes later they were reduced to ten men after the expulsion of Rodrigo Moreira due to two yellow cards.
Independiente, with this victory, gained valuable motivation as they will play the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana semifinals against Libertad on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Racing Club cannot find consistency. The blue team defeated Boca Juniors, drew against Talleres de Córdoba, and lost to Atlético Tucumán.
