Paolo Goltz leaves Club America
The Argentine defender Paolo Goltz is set to fulfill his dream and play for Boca Juniors. Miguel Herrera, the coach of Club America, confirmed the departure of Goltz before the team's trip to the United States.
"Paolo has already left, he now belongs to Boca. He wanted to go and the time we worked together was very good," said Herrera.
America travels to Denver
América traveled to Denver today, where they will face Santos in a friendly match on Wednesday. The tour also includes matches against Puebla, Morelia, and on July 16 they will face Querétaro in the Supercopa MX.
"We will try to get the most out of these games because we have little time to work and we need to take advantage of this so that the team is ready for matchday zero and the first match," said Herrera.
The Colombian player Darwin Quintero traveled with the team and is fully engaged in training with Águilas. Regarding the possible arrival of the midfielder requested by the management, Miguel Herrera commented, "We will define this week if someone else will come. Nothing has been decided yet."
Regarding the possibility of Oribe Peralta going with the national team to the Gold Cup, he said that no one from the national team has requested the striker, but they would also consult with him because "he is no longer a young guy, he needs rest and we would have to ask him what he wants."
