A debate, albeit more of a myth, that has been discussed for years in Argentine football, has been confirmed by a fan of Boca Juniors: 'La Bombonera' vibrates. Which is the same as saying that the walls, columns, and structure in general, shake from the jump of the fans.
The phrase that started the hatred between Tevez and Riquelme: "I achieved everything without sucking..."
For Boca fans there was no doubt, their stadium 'dances' to the rhythm of the fans' chant, but for others, the stadium only managed to shake.
But the famous phrase of the 'Xeneize' fans: "La Bombonera doesn't shake, it vibrates", was confirmed thanks to a fan who demonstrated, in a video, what happens to the stadium's structures when the attendees jump at the same time.
Let's remember that in 2012, seismographs were placed beneath the Boca fans' stand, in the final of the Copa Argentina against Racing. Each goal by the 'Xeneize' yielded incredible results, and up to 6.4 degrees on the Richter scale were recorded, an earthquake.
