A party was held at the Weserstadion, where Claudio Pizarro played his farewell match yesterday, with the presence of several football figures who accompanied the '14' throughout his professional career, both at Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich.
With a full stadium, the 'Bomber' started the first of the 3 matches, each lasting 30 minutes, with the 'friends of Claudio' against Bremen, and in the first minute of the match, he scored the opening goal with a header after a cross from Torsten Frings.
The former captain of the Peruvian national team had the opportunity to score another goal from a penalty; however, the honoree attempted a chip shot and the ball was easily caught by his former teammate Tim Wiese.
