"Cruyff, years ago, scored an incredible goal against Atlético Madrid at Camp Nou, it was quite similar to Haaland's. That was the first impression I had," stated Josep, comparing the fantastic finishes.

In that sense, Guardiola mentioned Zlatan and his elastic shots: "I also remember a bit of my dear friend Ibrahimovic, who has that incredible ability to put the ball in the top corner. Erling is quite similar in that and I think it's in his nature: he is elastic, flexible, and also has the ability to make contact and put it in the net," said Pep to the media.

"So yes, when you see him, you think: 'Oh, so big. How does he have that flexibility?', but he does have it. I think it's in his nature, mom and dad gave him that flexibility," Pep concluded in front of the media.

Since his arrival at Manchester City, Erling Haaland has taken advantage of his unconventional movements to score goals and already has 10 goals in six Premier League matches, becoming the top scorer so far. The next test for the Norwegian will be against Wolves on Saturday, September 17 (6:30 a.m.).
