The police in Germany confirmed that two thieves entered Thomas Müller's home while he was playing against Barcelona and ended up stealing cash, jewelry, and valuable items, amounting to 500,000 euros. The most surprising thing about all this is that this terrible act happened on the footballer's 33rd birthday.
The Bild newspaper reported that around 10 o'clock last night in Germany, while the Bayern Munich vs Barcelona match was being played, two thieves entered the German footballer's house and took various objects with a value of 500,000 euros.
The captain of Bayern Munich found out shortly after the end of the match and quickly went home. This explains why Thomas Müller did not give interviews and disappeared suddenly after the match.
Hours later, the police issued a statement about the robbery at Thomas Müller's house: "Last night, around 10:00 PM, the police received a report of a burglary at a detached house in the municipality of Otterfing through an alarm center, so several patrols were dispatched to the property to check it. While only a few minutes later the first patrol car from the Holzkirchen police station arrived at the residential building, at least two unknown perpetrators fled through the garden towards an adjacent field and escaped into the darkness".
