Lunes 12 de Septiembre del 2022

Barcelona and Bayern face each other this Tuesday, September 13th, for the second matchday of the Champions League group stage. Get to know the lineups for the match in Germany.

Here are the lineups for Barcelona vs. Bayern Munich for Matchday 2 of Group C of the Champions League at Allianz Arena, starting at 02:00 p.m. (Peruvian time). The match will be broadcasted by ESPN, START Plus, HBO Max, and Movistar España. The Xavi Hernández-led team faces this match with high spirits, following their 4-0 victory against Cádiz last weekend.

The coach of the Catalan team has called up the entire squad for this match. The blue and red expedition traveled to German lands on Monday in the early hours, with 25 players, following the recovery training session that the team performed on Sunday at the Joan Gamper Sports City.

However, the blaugrana lineup is already defined. The German Marc-André ter Stegen will be in goal, while the defenders are Jules Koundé, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, and Marcos Alonso, in order to be secure in Munich.

The trio in midfield is indisputable: Sergio, Busquets, Pedri, and Gavi. Finally, in the forward line, there is another trio of immovable players: star Robert Lewandowski, Brazilian Raphinha, and Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich is not arriving at this match in the best way. The Bavarian team settled for their third consecutive draw in the Bundesliga, on Saturday at home against Stuttgart (2-2), generating more doubts in one of the worst starts of the season in recent years.

The last time the Germans had a bitter start was in the 2010/2011 season, in which the domestic title went to Borussia Dortmund.
