The Serbian midfielder is 29 years old and has also played for Hamburger, Stuttgart, Groningen and Radnički Kragujevac in his country
The midfielder of Eintracht Frankfurt Filip Kostic signed with Juventus, where he will coincide with his compatriot Serbian Dusan Vlahovic, among others.
"Filip Kostic arrived at Caselle airport for the medical check-up of Juventus", had advanced 'Vecchia Signora' on its website, where it also posted a video showing fans waiting for their new star and the player going through the medical examination.
The contract of the 29-year-old Serbian international was officially announced by the Italian Football League, which announced it on its website in the updated list of transfers.
Although Juventus has not yet communicated the details of the operation, Filip Kostic would have signed for three years, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, which mentions a payment of around 15 million euros (15.4 million dollars) by the Bianconeri club to the German Eintracht.
Eintracht had not called up their player for the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid on Wednesday (0-2).
"We will bid farewell to him with tears in our eyes, because it is never pleasant to lose a player like him. Without him, we are weaker, that's for sure," said coach Oliver Glasner on Tuesday.
Kostic, who also wore the colors of Stuttgart and Hamburger in the Bundesliga, was one of the architects of Eintracht's victory in the Europa League last season.
The Serbian international, who has been called up 48 times by his national team, stands out for his left-wing dribbling and dangerous crosses.
In Juventus, Kostic will meet his compatriot Dusan Vlahovic, who arrived at the Piedmontese club in January. For both, it is an opportunity to get to know each other better ahead of the World Cup (November 20 - December 18), in which Serbia will face Brazil, Cameroon, and Switzerland in Group G. AFP
