Germany and England share points in a match with little brilliance

In a match that was expected to have more football than what was seen, Germany and England settled for a draw. In a lackluster encounter in Munich, Harry Kane emerged in the final minutes to force a penalty that he converted into the equalizer (1-1) against the Germans. There was no revenge after the elimination (2-0) in the round of 16 at Wembley in the last Eurocup, but there were reasons to celebrate.

And it is that the Tottenham forward achieved his 50th goal with the Three Lions, today positioning himself as the second highest scorer in the history of England, surpassing the legendary Bobby Charlton (49 goals), with only Wayne Rooney (53) in the sights. It's his next goal.

Both teams came out with a lot of intensity, high pressure, and trying to get the ball as quickly as possible near the opposing area. In the first half, Germany scored twice but both goals were disallowed.

In the second half, Germany opened the scoring in the 51st minute through Hoffmann, who scored with a powerful right-footed shot inside the area after a pass from Joshua Kimmich. The English equalizer came late but it came, in the 88th minute, through a penalty awarded by VAR and impeccably executed by Kane.

Finally, both teams played for Italy, which currently leads Group C. Roberto Mancini's 'renovation' in the Azzurra team is starting to bear fruit as they secured their second victory in the Nations League by beating Hungary 2-1.
