Barcelona transfers Ilaix Moriba to RB Leipzig
Barcelona officially announced the transfer of Ilaix Moriba to RB Leipzig in Germany. The Catalan club informed that the transfer was made for 16 million euros plus 6 in variables.
The 18-year-old midfielder arrived in Germany last Monday and underwent his medical examination on Tuesday, after which he signed a five-year contract.
Leipzig, the German league runner-up, is looking to reinforce their team after the confirmation of their Austrian player Marcel Sabitzer's signing with Bayern Munich.
The powerful Bavarian team and German champions have already added both the manager Julian Nagelsmann and the defender Dazor Upamecano from Leipzig to their ranks.
