There is one spot left for Latin America in the VALORANT World Championship. Here we share all the details you need to know about the tournament prior to the Champions.

The excitement is building as the teams of VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas who failed to secure a spot in Champions prepare for the battle for the coveted last spot. This exciting event, called the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), will take place from July 15th to 23rd. The seven competing teams do not want to be left out of the most important tournament of the year.

During the VCT Americas regular season, teams like Cloud9 and Leviathan demonstrated skill with impressive performances and successive victories. On the other hand, MIBR and 100Thieves fought valiantly, delivering flashes of brilliance and critical wins. Despite frequent defeats, KRÜ maintained a close score, and for Furia and Sentinels, the desire to succeed has always been palpable.

These seven teams have shown their resilience and determination in overcoming challenges throughout the season. However, only one of them will be able to join the fight for glory in VALORANT Champions and have the opportunity to etch their names in the history of VALORANT esports.

From July 15th to 23rd, the action in the Americas returns to the screens with the Last Chance Qualifier. The winner will join LOUD, Evil Geniuses, and NRG on the international stage of VALORANT Champions in August in Los Angeles.

LCQ Format

The teams that finished in the last five positions in the regular phase will compete in a Play-In stage with direct elimination. The top two teams will advance to join Cloud9 and Leviathan, who occupied the fourth and fifth positions in the regular phase, in a challenging double elimination format. All series will be played best of three, except for the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final, which will be played with best of five series.

The excitement begins on July 15th at 12pm (MX) with the Play-In Round 1: MIBR vs KRÜ Esports, and continues until the Grand Final on July 23rd, where the top two teams will face off for the last chance at a spot in VALORANT Champions.

All LCQ matches can be watched live on the official channels in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, through Twitch and YouTube. Fans are invited to share their support on social media using the hashtag #VALORANTLCQ and to follow the official VALORANT accounts on Twitter and Instagram.

There is only one precious spot left for VALORANT Champions. Now is the time for the Americas to decide who they want to join the representatives of their continental league. There is nothing like the excitement of VCT, so join the conversation and show your support for your favorite teams.
