The famous game Preguntados will turn ten years old next October, and coinciding with International Asking Questions Day, which is celebrated on March 14, its developer, etermax, has announced that, thanks to its loyal community, the record of 50 million unique questions available in 34 languages has been surpassed.
During the last decade, Preguntados fans have continuously contributed to the game by suggesting, voting, and moderating most of the trivia content through the 'Question Factory,' a development that allows users to suggest, evaluate, and translate questions for use in the game. As a result, over 50 million unique questions have been collected, suggested by users from 180 countries and available in 34 languages.

According to etermax, this technology "drives a social and collaborative model that not only contributes to a healthy competitive environment but is also a reflection of the motivation and excitement that curiosity arouses in people around the world".
The revolutionary discoveries in human history and the decisions that shape people's lives have primarily begun with a question. Under this premise, Preguntados was born in 2013, the world-acclaimed series of trivia-based video games that changed the way people enjoyed question games by combining the fun of trivia with social interaction on a mobile device.

In 2015, the video game became the number one download on the U.S. App Store, remaining in that top position for 66 consecutive days. To date, Preguntados has reached 600 million downloads, with over 150 million active users per year and one of the most active gaming communities.
Thanks to its passionate community of curious people, Preguntados has surpassed its initial mobile experience and has evolved into a multi-platform game that uses multiple technologies, including AR filters, board games, voice interface devices, smartwatches, and streaming services, among others.

"It is fair to say that it all started with a question", said Máximo Cavazzani, founder and CEO of etermax. "In our case, it was: what if we develop a video game where curiosity meets technology, creating a perfect environment for the growth of an international community of curious people? And here we are. Ten years later, we have built a global trivia community that continuously reinforces its commitment to enjoy, connect with others, and foster curiosity", he added.
"This March 14th, we specially celebrate #AskingQuestionsDay and take the opportunity to thank, commemorate, and recognize our community of millions of curious people around the world" he added, convinced of the importance of "keeping sharp wit and active curiosity" as "key to finding creative solutions to today's and tomorrow's problems".
