Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 will receive a free update for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC next year. The reason is to celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary.

The update will include improved graphics performance, a 4K quality mode, and more content in Bethesda's official mod support, Creation Club.
In addition, it will have features tailored to each specific console, such as the haptic feedback of the PS5. However, beyond knowing that the update is coming in 2023, an exact date is still unknown.
