Microsoft has announced a new update in Xbox that promises to suppress unwanted background noises in group voice chats, such as breathing and button sounds from other participants.

Redmond company has introduced this feature in the new version of Xbox operating system, 10.0.22621.1836, as explained in a statement published on their website.

Microsoft has detailed that noise suppression allows users with headphones to isolate themselves even more during online multiplayer sessions. To do this, it will cancel out unwanted sounds such as breathing, buttons pressed by other chat participants, or any other background noise.

The tech company has already rolled out this new feature among Xbox Series S and X users. Additionally, Microsoft has noted that it is enabled by default, but players have the option to disable it if they prefer.

CLOUD GAMING FROM CLIPS AND SCREENSHOTS

The new update to the Xbox operating system has also added another new feature. In this case, it allows a user's friends to join their gaming session from a PC or mobile device from a screenshot or clip.

This is possible thanks to Microsoft's cloud gaming service, Xbox Cloud Gaming, which will run directly in the user's browser when they click on a video clip or screenshot of a game that a friend has shared with them.

Microsoft has explained that enjoying some games in the cloud will require a prior subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the highest tier of their monthly service.
