The Samsung Odyssey Ark monitor, 55 inches in size with a 1000R curvature radius, includes the Neural Quantum Processor Ultra to optimize content upscaling to 4K.
The South Korean company presented the Odyssey Ark at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year, a monitor that integrates a solar panel and a USB Type-C port for charging, eliminating the need for disposable batteries, and is now available for sale globally.
The main appeal of this monitor designed for gaming is its 55-inch screen and 1000R curvature, designed to fully cover the user's peripheral vision. Samsung points out that this effect is intensified with the Cabin mode and the adjustable-height stand, which allows the screen to be rotated and pivoted.

Odyssey Ark harnesses Samsung's Quantum Matrix technology with Quantum Mini LED, introducing new 14-bit processing and lighting control technology so that players can see "dark and bright scenes with 16,384 levels of black that will provide hyper-realistic graphics", as detailed by the company in a statement.
This monitor also features a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and comes with the new Neural Quantum Processor Ultra that utilizes data generated by 20 neural networks to enhance every visual detail, optimizing content upscaling to 4K resolution.

The Matte Display, which reduces glare and reflections, and Samsung's Sound Dome audio technology complement the cinematic experience. Four speakers, one in each corner, and two central woofers reproduce "realistic and deep sound" in a 2.2.2 channel of 60W with the lowest notes at 45Hz.
The Odyssey Ark has a refresh rate of 165Hz, 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160), a response time of 1ms (GtG), and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. Furthermore, the interface includes the Ark Dial solar controller, which can quickly and easily control various settings such as Flex Move Screen, Multi View, Quick Settings, and Game Bar.
The monitor is priced at $3,500 and is available for pre-order on the Samsung website.
