Avatar: The Legend of Aang will have a free and open-world video game.

One of the most successful animated series of the 2000s is Avatar: The Last Airbender . Thousands of people grew up with Aang's adventures, who also became one of the most recognizable icons of Nickelodeon . Now, it has been confirmed that Square Enix, one of the giants of the gaming industry, is working with Navigator Games on a title inspired by the saga and that will be free and open world.

By now, it is known that the video game will be called Avatar: Generations, it will be available on iOS and Android devices and will depict the adventures of the memorable characters Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko. Likewise, it seems that the game will cover the first three seasons of the Nick series.

In addition, the combat system of the game will feature team battles and a strong component of item customization.

While it is true that the game will be free, it is expected to monetize its content through paid updates (new stories, characters, and better equipment for the characters).

"With a globally beloved brand of this level, we have strived to create a game that expands the rich and historical universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender in an authentic and exciting way for fans of the series and role-playing games," said Will Moore, CEO of Navigator Games.
