The biggest international tournament of fighting video games like Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat 11 took place in a grand way. It's the EVO 2022, an event that brought together the best fighters from around the world. Who won each of the games and how much money did they earn in prizes? We'll tell you here.

As you may remember, the Evolution Championship Series, known as EVO, is a competition with over 20 years of existence focused on the most famous fighting video games. The tournament started on Friday, August 5th, and concluded on Sunday, August 7th, in Las Vegas, United States.

Thousands of players registered for EVO 2022 and the prize money for each video game is divided among the eight competitors who made it the furthest with a proportion of 42%, 20%, 13%, 7%, 5%, 5%, 4%, and 4%.

To calculate the monetary prize for each title, it is necessary to take into account that each participant pays $10 for the main pot of their preferred title. According to this figure, the portion of the top eight places is quantified. For example, in the case of Guilty Gear -Strive-, the pot is $21,610, according to the number of participants. The first place in the game's competition received 42% of said pot, equivalent to $9,076.
