Radical Entertainment's game was supposed to be released in 2008 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, but it was ultimately canceled.

Scarface is one of the most important crime films in cinema and its presence has reached the world of video games. In 2006, in collaboration with Radical Entertainment, Scarface: The World Is Yours was released, a title that recreated the events seen in the film.

Two years later, in 2008, the same developer was behind a sequel, Scarface 2, which would be set in Las Vegas and would feature the protagonist Tony Montana, as in the closing of the first game the ending was changed and he survived.

However, in that same year, the merger between Activision (owner of Radical Entertainment) and Blizzard caused the game to not pass the pre-alpha stage, so its development was not continued.

Now, the Mafia Game Videos channel has published a gameplay and animations of what would be the sequel to Scarface:

Given the time, the game would have been released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, although as seen in the leaked video, Scarface 2 still had a long way to go in terms of development and optimization.

Likewise, we can see the casinos and large streets of Las Vegas, the city where the game would be set. In the continuation, Tony Montana survived at the end of Scarface 1 and traveled to Las Vegas to seek revenge against Alejandro Sosa and regain his drug empire in Miami.

The video game Scarface 2 was canceled in 2008.

According to various specialized media, different actors from the original film provided their voices for the sequel, while Al Pacino declined the job. Although the award-winning author allowed his image to be used in the game's promotional image.

After the merger of Activision and Blizzard and the failure of Prototype 2, Radical Entertainment's workforce was reduced and they began to support the development of other video games by the company.
