Clear Gaming Stars League: The fight to ascend to the League of Legends stars begins [VIDEO]

Miercoles 13 de Abril del 2022

This week the Promotion and Relegation matches will be held, which will define 2 spots for the Clausura of the official LoL competition in Peru.

This week the Claro Gaming Stars League will have the Promotion and Relegation matches that will define 2 spots in the Claro Gaming Stars League - Clausura 2022, the official League of Legends competition in Peru organized by LVP (MEDIAPRO Group) and sponsored by Claro Gaming.

Background

By occupying the last 2 positions in the standings in the 2022 opening split and not qualifying for Playoffs, Fantasy Gaming and Deliverance Esports will have to play against Antares E-Sports and Día Libre (respectively) to defend or lose their spot in the Claro Gaming Stars League for the Clausura split.

Under the Bo5 format, which means a best-of-5 series, it will decide which 2 teams will complete the group of stars who will fight for the Clausura split title.

Dragons vs. Scorpions

Fantasy Gaming finished last in the opening split of the Claro Gaming Stars League 2022, and therefore, was the team that had the most time to prepare the defense of their spot in the top League Of Legends competition in Peru.

Their opponent will be Antares E-Sports, a young team that has overcome the pandemic and has managed to consolidate a team that brings together experienced players who have already had minutes in the Claro Gaming Stars League and young players with high potential for learning and growth in the game.

The most anticipated matchup is probably Marti vs. Sinner Crow, both midlaners have great skill and a solid champion pool, plus the contrast between the progressive growth of young Marti and the experience of Sinner Crow. In short, an exciting series between Dragons and Scorpions awaits us.

A series with shades of revenge

Deliverance Esports finished last in the race to qualify for the playoffs in the Claro Gaming Stars League 2022 opening split. It is surprising that, despite renewing their entire squad very early on, they managed to remain in the competition long enough not to finish in last place.

But what is even more surprising is the opponent they face: Día Libre, which is a sports initiative made up largely of players that Deliverance Esports discarded hastily at the beginning of the 2022 opening tournament. San, Nou, and LupinoBate have recruited more players after Raglem left for Antares E-Sports, and have made Día Libre a dynamic and fresh team that seeks to win a spot in the Claro Gaming Stars League at the expense of the team that closed the doors on them a few months ago. All to create a series that could confirm that Deliverance did well to discard players, or on the contrary, give reason and a sweet revenge to Día Libre in this battle of roosters against hooded players.
