The Russian pro player performs as an offlaner in EG.

Although it was expected that Nightfall would be an important piece in Evil Geniuses' roster, the Russian pro player had a disappointing first season with the North American team. However, the former Virtus.Pro player has improved in the offlaner role during the Dota Pro Circuit Tour 2, where his team currently has five consecutive victories.

In a recent interview that appeared on the escorenews portal, the Russian player pointed out that he still had a lot to improve to reach his best level in The International, just like the rest of the roster.

"We still have many things to improve. I don't think winning the DPC is so different from playing an international event like a major, for example. I don't think the difference in the game is that big and that we have problems in majors or something like that, but I still believe that we have a lot to improve until TI," he said.

"Last season was very tough. We were divided as a team and couldn't be together. It wasn't the best conditions for me either. When we are all together, it feels much easier to play and be on the same page. It's important for a team like ours to have players from different regions and cultures. Being here with the team makes things much easier," he added.

Similarly, the player talked about how he gets along with the rest of the team and pointed out that English has not been a barrier to communicate with his Evil Geniuses teammates.

"It's difficult to compare because in VP I spoke my first language. I would say it was more like a team of friends. People were super close to each other. EG is more like a professional team," he explained.

"It's not that difficult to communicate, because it's somewhat easy to give instructions in Dota. There aren't that many difficult words, so it's something easy. Even when RAMZES was on EG, I think his English was worse than mine, but he still did well," he emphasized.
