This Friday, the third round of the Rally Mobil 'Gran Premio de Concepción' started with a tribute to the pilot Carlo de Gavardo who passed away last week after suffering a respiratory arrest while training in Buin.
The organizers and athletes, led by Francisco López, called on people to come to Plaza de la Independencia, where the Renault Clio R3 was exhibited, which De Gavardo used in the previous two rounds of the championship.
"Last weekend was a mix of strange emotions, of happiness and sadness. Today we are still shocked by Carlo's departure", said 'Chaleco'. In addition, the tribute event had a condolences book where attendees could leave messages of support and memories.
