Boxing Match Turns Violent in Canada

It all happened during a fight for the FIB and WBA middleweight category in Canada, where boxers Brandon Cook and Steve Butler faced off in the city of Montreal.

Cook, from Ontario, was declared the winner of the fight by technical knockout and this sparked the anger of fans who considered it a "robbery" for the local representative in the seventh round. In response to the celebration of the new champion, fans threw ice and drinks at him, even hitting him in the head with a metal bucket full of ice, knocking him out in the ring.

The consequences of these disturbances were five injured people, who had to be hospitalized. It was also reported that two spectators responsible for throwing the bucket of ice at the boxer were arrested.

The images of this boxing event have gone viral on social media.
