Atlético Madrid’s new signing Ferreira Carrasco joined up with the rest of the 19-man squad in Saturday’s training session. Carrasco paired up with Fernando Torres and spent most of the two-hour session working with the number 9. He then later formed a team made up of Siqueira, Gámez, Gabi, Saúl, Raúl García, Vietto and Torres, who pitted their wits against Monsalve, Velázquez, Thomas, Rubén Pérez, Mario Suárez, Iván Pérez, Xu Xin and Correa. Óliver was left out of the session as a precautionary measure.
On Monday 13 July at 12pm Ferreira Carrasco will be officially unveiled as an Atlético Madrid player at the Cerro del Espino training complex.
