With the official announcement from both Real Madrid and FC Porto confirming Casillas’ move imminent, the goalkeeper is now focusing on his pre-season activity with the Liga Nos club.
The Portuguese side started their pre-season last Monday (July 6) with new incorporation's, Alberto Bueno, André André, Danilo Pereira and Imbula.
This evening Julen Lopetegui and his squad flew to Holland where they will be based in Horst (in the Dutch province of Limburg) and will remain in the Netherlands for 8 days. Iker Casillas is expected to join up with his new squad on Monday.
Real Madrid are preparing for their farewell for the team captain despite Casillas stating he wants a low key exit. After the press conference that the player intends to give (now expected to be on Sunday), Casillas will fly directly to Holland and may even play in Porto’s pre season friendly against Dutch Eerste Divisie side, Fortuna Sittard.
