Yevhen Konoplyanka officially signs with Sevilla

Yevhen Konoplyanka, a Ukrainian midfielder from Dnipro, is now officially a player for Sevilla, after the player's original club approved his definitive release. The player underwent a medical examination last week and everything was awaiting the Dnipro's decision to release the player before July 31st, which is when his contract expired and he became a free agent, as contracts in Ukraine are signed until this month.

This afternoon, the Ukrainian club sent Sevilla the document authorizing the midfielder to join the team at Nervión, so he will travel to Sevilla in the coming days and join the team's training camp at La Manga at the beginning of next week. Konoplyanka (Kirovograd, 09/29/1989) has signed a contract for the next four seasons with Sevilla, which includes a release clause of 40 million euros.
