Player's Future at River Plate in Doubt

Despite the daily accusations exchanged between his agent and River Plate's executives regarding his continuity in the team, the Colombian forward had a calm conversation with the press in Buenos Aires. He avoided confrontation but gave few details about his future club.

"I have faith that something beautiful is coming," he commented on Radio La Red, without delving into the offers from Sporting Lisbon and Corinthians that his representative revealed.

He reiterated his love for River, who will play the semifinals of the Copa Libertadores next week against Guaraní, with a special message for the fans and the team with whom he won three titles.

"River is in a privileged position, where it deserves to be, thanks to the work of my teammates. There are many River fans who love me, and that makes me very happy," he added.
