Córdoba negotiates the transfer of the Romanian international forward Florin Andone
The Córdoba is negotiating the transfer of the Romanian international forward Florin Andone, having received four offers, two from England and two from Spanish teams, including Espanyol, according to his agent, Juan José Moral.
Moral has acknowledged that Florin "wants to leave" Córdoba, so the player's agent has presented the existing proposals to the club, with whom the Romanian has two more seasons under contract.
Among the Spanish teams, his representative has assured that "one is Espanyol", clarifying that "it's not that they don't want to pay a transfer fee, as has been said, but rather that they can't pay much".
In addition to the Catalans, Moral has said that "there is another Spanish club that can reach 1.2 million euros", as well as "the two English clubs", although he has clarified that "neither is Aston Villa", contrary to what has been reported.
He added that when the sale of Florin started being discussed, back in February, the president of Córdoba, Carlos González, "started asking for five million" for the transfer, a figure that corresponds to his release clause.
"Now we're going for three, but on August 15th he will have to settle for one or between 1.1 and 1.2 million at most," predicted his agent, who, however, believes that the Romanian forward "will be out of Córdoba before August 1st".
