Goalkeeper Rubén Martínez signs with Levante
Levante's goalkeeper Rubén Martínez stated during his presentation as a player for the team for the next three seasons, that he chose to play in Valencia to take a further step in his professional career, considering it is a "consolidated" club in the First Division.
"I wanted to take a step forward in my career and Levante is a consolidated team in the First Division. The negotiation was very quick," he said during the presentation, held at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste as part of an event organized by Levante's collaborators.
The new Levante goalkeeper, whose signing was completed almost a month ago, has been training with his new teammates since last Monday and explained that he has quickly acclimated to the team.
"The club's staff, players, and coaches have welcomed me very well. I'm delighted to be here in Valencia," he summarized.
In addition, Levante's president, Francisco Catalán, welcomed the goalkeeper and highlighted Rubén's commitment to playing in Valencia. "We are incorporating a great player and a person with many dreams to fulfill. Rubén has bet on Levante," he explained.
